Into the Spider-Verse
In this episode, I will introduce you to my old friend, Amadarwin. Don't ask about the name, I think he came up with it in high school trying to impress some girl.
We get into what makes us comic nerd qualified, our love of Marvel RPG - we can talk FASERIP with the best of them. For some reason, Amadarwin doesn't like stamps.
Some questions we tackle:
Does the world need another Spider-Man?
Do you know anyone who doesn't like Spider-Man?
Would Toby Keith make a good Spider-Man? Or would he have daddy issues?
Does Spider-Gwen need her own movie now?
Is Tom Holland "Dad bod Spider-Man" in the future?
Who is the best Aunt May?
Does anyone else miss playing City of Heroes and City of Villains?
If that's not enough for you, we also touch on Infinity War and Superman vs. Batman.

Stan & Ollie - Review by Rick Swift

The original comedy duo!
Everyone who has laughed at some point in their life owes a hat tip to the most iconic comedy duo to have ever lived: Laurel & Hardy. If you are not familiar with them, they were the first Abbott & Costello. And if you aren’t familiar with those guys, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy were the first Bert & Ernie; Harold & Kumar; Jay & Silent Bob; Penn & Teller; and maybe most recently; Deadpool & Dopinder.

Episode 2: It's Clucking Hereditary

Hereditary - Does it live up to the hype?
Directed by Ari Aster, this macabre mystery has had audiences talking all last year, so of course we had to talk about it too.
Madison thought it could have been trimmed at least twenty minutes, but I thought the suspense was perfect.
Do you think this film lived up to the hype?

Aquaman - Review by Rick Swift

DC occasionally gets one right
Aquaman is a fun, family-friendly film that does a decent job telling a compelling story about one of their oldest heroes and kicks a lot of ass. I could have used a lot less smoldering and obvious "eye candy" shots of shirtless Momoa. But it didn't ruin the good parts of the story.
Let's talk about how amazing these visual effects were too. And what the hell is wrong with The Academy for snubbing this fantastic movie?

Mortal Engines - Review by Rick Swift
Tuesday Dec 18, 2018
Tuesday Dec 18, 2018
A book series turned into a solid action film
When you ask Hollywood to give you something original, you might get giant mobile cities that go around devouring smaller cities. Just go with it, and you might actually like it!
The movie definitely didn’t suck, the effects were pretty decent, given that we are to believe that these cities can transform as people are walking all over them. There were some obvious homages to The Empire Strikes Back, and there was a message about human nature and that love can exist in the most desolate of hearts.
Here's the full review, and comments are definitely encouraged: https://www.filmgrouch.com/reviews/mortal-engines/

Episode 1: May the Spaceballs Be Wit Ya
Saturday Dec 08, 2018

Spaceball I
This was our first episode, so of course we picked my wife's favorite film of all time to start off this crazy podcast adventure, none other than the Mel Brooks comedy classic, Spaceballs.
This parody film, blessed by George Lucas, is the best Star Wars spoof that's ever been made.
In our first show you will hear us introduce ourselves, we will discuss why Spaceballs is so important to us personally. I am sure you will agree we are geek certified '80s kids that just love movies.
And in this episode we asked the question, what job (other than Dark Helmet) would you want to have on Spaceball I?
